comparable with film stars, and movie moguls.
Talented players are being discovered in many continents that include, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Not to forget the USA, helped by their
successful hosting of the world cup in 1994. The Glazer family of Tampa Bay fame, have bought Manchester United, reputed to be the worlds richest
football club. It would be impossible to estimate on the combined worth of the major players, and the clubs they are signed up for.
Recently there has been a lot of criticism, about youngsters not engaging in enough bodily exercise. Thank goodness then, that amongst
youngsters, some form of football is still exceedingly popular. Very few will go on to earn an income as football players, but the vast majority
will carry on with their interest, as fans. Sporting enthusiasts, from far and wide will be able to follow the advancement of their favorite
clubs, and marvel at the talent of the fortunate few professional footballers, who have been blessed with the chance of realizing the earlier
ambitions of so many.
