Currently, there is a great deal of publicity, concerning young people not engaging in enough bodily exercise. Thank goodness then, that amongst young people, knocking a ball about is still very common. Only a very small number will be able to earn a living as football players, but a vast number will continue with their interest, as fans. Club supporters, the world over will be able to gauge the advancement of their chosen clubs, and be in awe of the talent of the privileged few professional footballers, who have been endowed with the chance of realizing the thwarted ambitions of so many.
